School starts Monday. I'm excited. I usually always get excited when I start new semesters. New classes, new teachers, new $100 books. Luckily for me, I moved most of my stuff back up to Baton Rouge a couple weeks ago. That way, I won't be making 23 trips to my car, going back and forth. I'm leaving tomorrow, but I feel like I still have so much to do.
My Spanish teacher emailed the class the syllabus. It's 12 pages. TWELVE!! But it's okay, I research my professors, and everyone who commented on him said that he was funny and very helpful. And from what I've heard from my friend, my English professor is amazing. She listed The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People as one of our required books. I read The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, and was really good. So, that's good. My oceanography class has a required textbook that costs $200. This is why Amazon and eBay have become my best friends recently. I found a $100 book on Amazon for $15, and it was NEW!
On Monday, I have to register for dance classes early, because it's first come first serve. So, hopefully I wake up early enough to do that. I didn't realize that my school gym is closed at 11. During my freshman year, it would close at 9. That makes me excited because then they won't be rushing me out the door while I'm trying to watch the last of Grey's Anatomy. It opens at 5:45 now. It use to open at 9, which is cool because I can do a morning workout, shower (they have showers there), and walk to my next class. And then on Tuesday, I believe the cheerleaders and the Tigergirls are doing a rehearsal performance. I love watching anything associated with dance. I went to a Tigergirl rehearsal last semester, and they were fabulous!
In Disney news, I have made flash cards with interview questions on them and answers on the back. I've been having more conversations with my mom about Disney, about the benefits, the work, the training, the apartments. She seems just as excited as I am. Once I told her that she could go for 6 days free and have a hotel room for 40% off, she was sold. Now, all I have to do is wait for the school presentation. I have no idea when that will be, but I'm sure it'll be sometime in February. I wish the WDWCP website would post the presentation again. I'm going nuts! I've subscribed to the site, so when new news is available, I'll be the first to get it.
Alright, it's 10, and I don't think I've done a stitch of packing yet. I shall write sometime later. Ciao!
